Joe Burrow was a fan favorite while at Ohio State.
Burrow was never the star quarterback with the Buckeyes, but he was the classic beloved backup. Whenever a starter would struggle, whispers about Burrow would creep to the surface (thank you, social media).
Due to Burrow never truly winning a starting job while in scarlet and gray, he decided to transfer. It ended up paying off, as he found a new home at LSU and is now entering his second season as the starter.

On Monday, LSU head coach Ed Orgeron spoke with the media. During his presser, he talked about his QB1 in Burrow:
"I do believe we’re going to be great because of our quarterback."

LSU’s defense is always special. The Tigers have NFL bodies at seemingly every level of their defense each season. Offensively, it always comes down to QB play.
If Orgeron sees greatness ahead and it’s because of Burrow, that may be the highest level of confidence you can get from an LSU head coach.
